On Sun, 30 Mar 2008 10:54:25 -0700 (PDT), vejup@xxxxxxxxxxxxx brewed
up the following, and served it to the group:
My younger daughter Ginger (15) has become a singer/songwriter - I've
watched her progress over the last couple of years... This weekend I
saw her take that to the stage for the first time - performing an
original song - solo in a small packed theater setting. OF COURSE I
can't be objective (doting, proud dad), but this was the most amazing
experience for me. I wonder if others here have experienced similar?
She did great, got loads of acknowledgment from friends and classmates
- none of them even knew she sang or played. I felt like I saw the
world, her world forever change.

Richard--Congrats to her (and you)! That's a great feeling.
Our youngest scares me every time he picks up a guitar. (And makes me
want to practice more...which of course I can't ever seem to get
done...)
