I'm up for just about anything. Would this be in addition to the other
project that has been proposed.

Well, I'd like to do the project I proposed. If anyone else would
like to participate, they are welcome - even lurkers who don't post.
If even only one other person participates, we will at least have a
two-person collaboration, and maybe that will be interesting enough.
If nobody else participates, well then I'll end up writing a song all
by myself. It won't be the first time. But I hope some people join
in.

And anybody can jump into the project at any time - so maybe when a
chord structure and melody and lyrics get worked out, maybe THEN some
people will be inspired to jump in and record their own version of the
song, without having to have participated in the writing phases.

As for the other project, I don't think it would be too difficult for
me personally to participate in both. I suspect that there are others
on the ng who could do both.

In fact, since I already have the website http://www.rmmga08.com -
it's paid for for a year, I'd be happy to do the webmaster duties for
both projects. If the leader(s) of that project would like to us the
website as a place where people can upload songs, download other
people's tracks, publish information about the project, etc. I will be
happy to make the website accessible to them, or I can do the techie
web stuff for them.

Doing one project at a time might be a good ides.

Sure. For some people, that may be as much as they can handle. But
if anybody would also like to participate in the writing project, they
are welcome.
