I got a 4GB card for forty bucks. It'll hold over six hours of 24/44.1
(two tracks - halve that for the four-track mode).
I like to track 24 bits whenever I can, because even if 16/44.1 is CD
spec, I'm likely to alter gain, edit, maybe EQ or compress, and there is
real benefit (to me) from working with the 24 bit files through all of
that. Then the final step takes it down to CD spec, with dither applied.
