Have you ever played one of Steve's nylon string guitars? I remember
that Mike Barr (Foldedpath) bought one shortly before he vanished
from the group. It was sort of a crossover model for playing bossa
nova.

Yes.

Steve builds a very nice instrument, whether it's one of his own
Archtops (solid or laminated woods), mandolins, or the nylon string
models.

I have played a couple/three of his nylon string instruments, and
Steve definitely knows what he is doing in this realm. I believe that
I played Mike's instrument before it was shipped to him.

Steve is also getting ready to re-top (as an experiment...with a
double-top/Nomex technique) his own 000 flat-top steel string.

I think Steve is best known in the archtop world, but is not limited
by this!
