I wonder if one day he will say "I can't believe I said, "I have no
clue who Thompson is and don't really care".
I have a clue who Thompson is and still don't really care.
Boring minor key melodrama.

I'm not so much into his songs as I am into his playing, musicality and
ability to carry a very long performance with solo acoustic and vocal.
Lenny, I never figured you for a Major key, up beat and happy kind of guy.
You must have a totally awesome Doris Day collection.
John (please don't eat the daisies!)
"We Sing Hallelujah"
"I Want To See The Bright Lights Tonight"
"Keep Your Distance"
"Down Where The Drunkards Roll"
"Vincent White Lightning"
"Don't Sit On my Jimmy Shands"
Also great production work, witness Loudnon Wainwright III's _I'm
Alright_.
Preferences aside, the guy's a hell of a player.
We used to do 'Bright Lights Tonight' in my last covers band. Taking a
solo over those changes was either the high point of the evening or a
dissappear into a hole in the floor moment.
I loved it, but it made me sweat.
