I always thought an Epiphany was a cheaper version of a Gibsony.

I was so disappointed to learn that Epiphone isn't pronounced "epiphany".
It sounds like a very cool name for a guitar! That's how I say it when I
read it though ;-)
Take care,
Lisa
Having been in the engineering line of work...I key on the "phone."
(No pun.) I think it is a derivative of epic-phone...had it been
Epicphone, how would "Epicphany" been pronounced? <g>
LOL, I am also in an engineering line of work, but perhaps this is further
evidence that it wasn't exactly the right choice for me ;-)
Now having it pointed out for me, "phone" makes sense too. Funny how you
can get one pronunciation in your head and it's hard to read it any other
way, as I learn over and over again listening to my 7yo son read.
Take care,
Lisa
With me, it is the spelling. I will look at a word and I have about
two seconds to decide if it is spelled right.
I can look at "deny" a little bit and decide it isn't a word.
Ken...with a mind like a 7 yo.
I find that if I look at any word for a long enough time, it stops
making any sense at all. Stops being a word in fact.
Not sure if I have a "mind".
Tinman
You don't. The Tin Man had no brain, neither.
