Yeah, I was feeling so good about myself, doing okay in school, not
falling down too often.

So, I bucked up and applied. Flunked the test. No discernible IQ.

My hopes dashed, life collapsed around me as I slid into the gutter.
Traded my guitar for some cheap wine. Homelessness, hopelessness followed.

I'm posting this from a library computer, but I've gotta run...I think
they're closing in on me...
