That reminds me, I never thanked Larry for explaining how normal civil
rules of behavoir don't apply to this forum, and Pete for explaining
that guitar playing around here isn't friendly.

Hey, buttbrain--we were doing usenet LONG before there was any such
thing as Google.
Since you're so fond of Google, try looking up "netiquette." Then try
applying it.
Or just FOAD, that'd work, too.

If you got the words it does not mean you got the knowledge.
As you know my favorite quote is "Just enough knowledge to misquote"
so I don't remember who said something similar to your quote...it was,
"Don't quote to me! Tell me what YOU know."
About the guitar sale guy...I knew that would make someone unhappy,
but I was thinking about the jerk asking about soul values...he should
be doing the "Hotter Than Hell" topic, however, I thought about who
we, or rather I, would like to stop posting here.
I thought about that and I decided that the culture that exist here,
and I think it unique, is the commonality of the whole...and I would
not want any one to stop posting here -- not even the near mad-men
with strange agendas.
Have a good day, Bill. I am having one...so far.
Ken
Hey, Ken. I was horked off by "porchgreg" and his continuing crusade
against Raf & Geezer. I have been staying in a rather dark mood
recently (getting ready to head over to the nursing home to visit my
mother over lunch...she's not doing well at all...*sigh*...), and when
I see crap like his, it just gets under my skin a little too easily.
Oh, boy. Yep...it is tough. My mom is in an assisted care facility
in Cleburne, TX, and she is one fall from a nursing home and her days
will be very limited once there.
Oh, well...I'm obviously not helping things.
I don't want anyone to stop posting...I just want people to stop
posting *****. And that should include me, obviously!
Bill, that is funny. If some of these guys stopped posting ***, we'd
never hear from them again. That is what they are/do. <g>
Ken
And I liked the "hotter than hell" topic...a little cerebral exercise.
never hurt, but the occasional brain cramp is an expected side effect.
And so it goes. Thanks for the post, Ken...and thanks for being you!
