Chris has been my friend for many years. I've stayed at his home,
cruised the local pubs with him and spent many a night playing guitars
until the wee hours. I don't know why he believes these theorys and
I've long given up trying to convince him they're not true. It hurts
me to read it, so I just don't, but I also don't allow it to impact our
friendship.
Chris and his lovely Lady, Fiona are wonderful people. I'll be seeing
them again in March and we'll sit down, have some great English beer,
play guitar and have a wondeful time. Too bad the rest of the world
can't put aside their differences and live together.

things my way.
Steve (sorry, I still like my beer cold)

LOL! I used to feel the same way, then I went to my first UK
Gathering. We do serve the Lager cold, so come on down.
Steve Hawkins
Yes it's true - the lager is served chilled at UK meets - you can't pour it
properly otherwise. However, this year we borrowed some equipment
unfortunately with a faulty valve and a leak somewhere and went through 2
full gas canisters - each of which should be enough to serve at least 11
gallons. 2 professional celler men tried to fix it too. But there was
plenty of *warm* beers to choose from to make up for it.

Well, darn. All that about "a dirty job"...
