Hot is good.

I can play quite happilly when it's hot, it's the cold that stops me

Me, too. I find a little heat keeps the arthritic joints a bit looser.
Beer helps, too. (purely in the interest of keeping well hydrated)

Ya know, when I use that line, somebody always comes along and tells
me that the beer is DEhydrating.

I hate to say so Bill, but it is.

I've spent the last two weeks building stuff in our new place and on
the days when I've been drinking water my pee has been good. On the
beer days it's been orange and very short. This is because I've been
sweating out so much water that there's nothing left to pee.

This may be too much information...:-)

In a heatwave, alcohol is best avoided.

Pity,

Pete

Couldn't you just let me relax in the comfort of my own delusions for
a little while longer, Pete? (I mean, at least until I get home and
start in on what little is left in the fridge?)
