El,
I have some exposure to local nursing homes - my dad was in one and as
a younger person I used to deliver RX regularly to another.
All of the "acts" I've seen who perform during eating time play/sing
religious music, typically a kid's choir or a small church group.
I'm sure you could play what you want, if it were in line with the vibe of
the
meal situation. No need for religious music.
So, what was life-changing for you?
I started by thinking about one-on-one music therapy with guitar, and ended
up providing visitation and lay ministry in the psych ward, for want of a
better term.
My RMMGA training came in helpful.<:)
