Congrats on the new home, pretty soon you'll be all settled in and will have
outgrown the place. My oldest son just graduated from high school and is
likely getting ready to hit the hay after day one of touring Rome, Italy.
Sounds like the same for your son, Australia, wow!!!
Like you I haven't been able to catch much in the way of music. In fact,
things have gotten so busy I haven't picked the guitar up in a few months
now. Thank goodness for the IPOD. That should all change in a few weeks.
Even though I've had a guitar and "played" for almost three years now, wow
has time flown, I'm still very much a beginner. I've been doing some side
work and trying to save money for lessons and a new guitar. No more self
teaching! So hopefully I'll be able to perform a song or two at the next
get together!
I digress bigtime. Glad you got to nourish the soul with some magic and
friends! Sounds like it was fantastic!
We've got to go to work on that Acoustic Guitar Society idea and pull
together some regular get togethers. Once a month or every other month
would be great.
Before I forget, my e-mail is "chucksears1 at cox dot net" (you know what to
do for symbol substitution so the address works). Send me an e-mail. I'll
send along the rest of my contact info. I frequently stay at the Holiday
Inn Express in E. Windsor just across the state line from you (if you know
of some good open mics in the area, let me know), but more importantly I'll
be on biz in CT in two weeks. Maybe we can catch up and meet finally.

Hey, Chuck! Nice to hear from you!! Yeah, Arlene's visit cameon
quickly! and I am still unpacking boxes in my new home and wasn't sure
what my son's schedule would be (just back from Australia and heading
up to Vermont soon). Deb Cowan graciously invited us to her house and
Greg Z came as well. I am so grateful to Deb - I haven't seen any
rmmga'ers in a while, nor have I had the chance to sit around and play
guitar with others like that in quite some time. What a magical thing
this music is! I loved it, and I look forward to having my little
gathering here real soon - I will let you know, Chuck! I think we
should be doing this sort of thing on a regular basis - it is good for
the soul.
I can't go to see Keb but let's do keep each other posted. I almost
saw Tommy Emmanuel a few weeks ago - I was so disappointed when the
show was cancelled.
Are you going to the Newport Guitar Festival?
Donna
I haven't had much time to see who's playing where. I just spotted this

Oh yeah, we need a report on Arlene's visit! Boy did that sneak up
it.I wish I could have crashed the party.
