in Canton right now (south of Boston). Are you still around?

Yes, last night at Deb's was a lot of fun. Great seeing Deb and Donna
again, and wonderful meeting Greg Z for the first time (though we've
corresponded). Lots of nice guitars there (my poor Little Martin was
definitely outshined). And... we got into some really nice vocal
harmonies, which I really enjoyed. All three of them are wonderful
musicians... Donna shines on the guitar, did some really nice open
tuning stuff and showed off her new Leach. (I guess I'll have to get
Harv to commission me a Miami Heat guitar.) Deb, of course, continues
to entrance with her wonderful voice. And Greg plays and sings
amazingly well...seems to like Kotke and Richard Shindell stuff. His
songs were sweet gentle songs... nice stuff for us to harmonize along
with. Thank you to Deb and Kevin for opening their home to us.
Ummm... does this count as EC10 (or 11 or 12 or...)? Or maybe we could
call it New England1.

Larry... you are welcome to visit me in Florida any time you are down
here. Norm... we discussed your diaper last night. Ken C... you
PROMISED you wouldn't talk about me behind my back! Hurricanes (or bad
weather) seem to have followed me north. Sorry to hear about all the
flooding in the PA/NY/MD area, and hope all of you are okay.

As for those of you who had the chutzpah to post messages about me in
my absence... (the "It Wasn't All About Arlene" one)... just you wait!
You'll get yours... harumph! :) I'm still in Boston, won't be home
til the evening of the 4th. Spent a nice day in Newport yesterday, did
the Cliff Walk. The other night wandered around Harvard Square
visiting all my old haunts. Passed Passim's and almost went in to
listen, but the people we were with don't like acoustic music. Might
be in Cambridge again tonight, and will try to visit Club Passim before
we leave. Have VERY limited internet access but had a little time to
log on today.. will be staying in hotel and involved with family
festivities over the weekend so little chance I'll get back online
until I get home (but I might check to see what you're saying about me
behind my back). I'll post pictures from last night when I get home.
