I'm using the same recording deck with ART Tube MP pre's and an AKG
C1000S small condenser mic for guitar. It gives me very decent sound.
The ART pre's can be a little noisy so you can probably do better, but
you need preamps.

Quality would be even better if I knew what I was doing but overall I'm
