Howdy Folks.
PLEASE do NOT send me any song files through email. Several large
files arrived today and shut down my email server. It took me quite a
while to clear it all out. If you DID send me a large file today, you
need to re-send it using an FTP program.
If you need to send an electronic format, ask me for the FTP
information. I have set up a specific FTP server just for uploading
your songs. If you don't know how to use FTP, go to ipswitch.com and
read about WS_FTP. You can get a free copy of it, and there are very
good directions for using it on that site.
Once again, PLEASE DO NOT SEND EMAIL ATTACHMENTS of your songs. Use
FTP instead.
Thanks,

FTP'ed two songs last night. Thanks for the instructions.
Being new to Mac's I was looking for a GUI FTP program on my machine
and didn't find one. But then I remembered OS X is all unix under the
hood so command line ftp worked just fine. Is there a freebie GUI FTP
client for OS X?
BTW, I don't think WS_FTP has a free version anymore. I used WS_FTP LE
(which was free to govt and university users) but that's not around
these days. I used WS_FTP Pro extensively at work--I think I've
uploaded over 50 terabytes of data with it.
