I have read enough of the other gentleman's posts to realize that he
is an intellectual lightweight who finds himself out of place in
serious conversations. His last two posts in this thread bear me out.
Then you have obviously read nothing. I've known John Sorell for many
years. And I can assure you...you haven't a clue. Stop now, while
you're still only a light-year or two behind.
If you have not read the posts I am referring to, I would be happy to
repost them here. He is an obnoxious ass and I don't care if he plays
guitar like a cross between Andrew Hardin and Richard Thompson,
I do play acoustic guitar. My weapon of choice is a Breedlove North
West Classic, though I also play a Taylor 810 and have an uncased
Martin 000X1 that I keep by my bed for late night and early morning
doodling.
Oh my god...ON TOPIC...
Sarcasm does not become you. You asked a question, I answered it.
Primarily I play country/folk John Prine, Tom Russell sort of stuff as
well as what I have written myself.
Good start. If you plan on hanging around this newsgroup, it's
generally considered a nice gesture to lurk for a while and get a clue
before you jump in and start slagging off participants about whom you
obviously know nothing.
I have been here for several months, and followed threads that I have
found interesting. And the truth is that I neither know, nor care who
says what so much as what is being said.
And when someone says something that is stupid, I respond to the
comment, not to the poster.

To support our men and women overseas
who may not be getting packages from home,
you can get some ideas as to how to do so at:

It is a non profit, volunteer run organization.
I encourage everyone to check it out,
respond from the heart, and pass it
along to anyone you think may want
to remember our overseas military personnel,
throughout the year.
