quality/sound/value impact of left handed conversion to acoustic guitar ?

Hi I am looking at buying a Guild that was originally right handed. The
nut and saddle have been changed and recut to be left handed. Does
anyone know what the impact of this may be in anyway, playability,
value, or sound quality ? Is this not a big deal or a cardinal sin ?

Thank you for your thoughts on this,

Jack
