I'm guessing that would be me. Although I don't think dissenting
opinions on either side of any discussion should be classified as "knee-
jerk". I'm very familiar with Oasis and the other methods of
distribution that have been mentioned so far.

Do we also assume we all want to be in the record business? I don't
mean the artistic side, I mean the grunt work side. Every project has
new folks joining it.

Ouch! :-)

That would require higher costs, more time from some involved and
someone to be responsible for all of it during the period of
availability. I also wonder if the IRS might come into play somewhere.
Somebody's name is going to be on all these agreements and getting the
checks. BTW, what happens to the money? The Harry Fox folks get paid,
what about the other copyright owners? You can't put it out in the open
market and just say only new RMMGA folks can buy it.

David, I love these things just as much as you do. CDII was the first
time I've ever recorded my music. It's one of the reasons I go to ALL
the gatherings. *** has pointed out at least once that the RMMGA-CD
group on yahoo is available for voting on issues. Put them together and
see what kind of response you get. Please keep in mind that
participation will be affected by going commercial.

Looking forward to seeing you in a couple of months and playing that new
guitar.

Best,
