You're right, of course...and there is more to be said on this topic.

I appreciated Arlene's earlier comments in defense of Hendricks, and I
have learned from her to look for whatever good I can in the
occassional seemingly unsavory individual...even those that have
treated her in an unkindly fashion...but let's not forget exactly how
this person attempts to use this newsgroup.

He is not here for discussion, nor for comraderie. He is only here to
promote himself. While this thread initiated with a simple attack on
"big music," it is really still all about Hendricks, and how he
attempts to promote himself.

Ironically, Hendricks is everything he says he is fighting against. He
is all show and no go. He posts nothing of substance. He adds nothing
to the information base here, and discusses nothing other than himself.
Nothing. His music is worse than bad, and his delusions about himself
are incomprehensible to anyone that has listened to his so-called
original approach to music.

Yes, he harms no one...except for the long-standing ethic that this
group NOT be soley about sales and promotions.

This group has been around for many years, and there are many of us
that have defended this ethic.

I think it may be time to begin complaining to Hendricks' ISP, in an
attempt to get him to cease and desist. The RMMGA Charter is clear on
this, and while his posts provide a certain amount of humor, no one
with his sales-only approach to posting has ever been tolerated here.

Ironically, Hendricks would be *welcomed* here, and encouraged (I would
hope!), if only he would actually take an interest in what is happening
outside of his brain. Little chance of that happening, I suspect.
