Re: Hopes for RMIC revival?

Abhik, thanks for the intro to Orkut. I immediately signed up. I
liked the fact that it is much more feature-rich than Usenet.
However, being a social web site similar to Facebook, etc., I noticed
that it attracts all kinds of postings as well. Meaning it is also
filled with spam. To worsen the situation, I searched for Hindusthani
Classical Music (and other topics of interest to me) and for each
topic, I saw multiple communities with different member populations
and it was not simple to pick the community I want to be part of. So,
I decided to continue wearing my old-fashioned hat and stick with RMIC
for now and simply ignore the occasional spam here.
