In terms of - simple - rap love songs "I Need Love"
can't be touched. I honestly couldn't find an
LL song, hardcore, soft or otherwise, that would

Weird. To me it remains the defining article of wack Hihop, corny
rapping and terrible 80s soul production. Its everything that's
sentimental and immature about Hiphops few dealings with LOVE. Every
other music in the world tends to have love as its main subject matter.
Hiphop almost shuns it completely and when it doesn't it comes out with
ridiculous tripe like I Need Love or Lovesick. Terrible.

Each to their own and all that but if there's no one Hiphop track that
stands out as the greatest there is one that stands out as the wackest.
