Probably... And wasn't there supposed to be a new LOX album coming out
as well??? Weird because the last time I read a hip-hop mag (which was
a WHILE ago) I could've swore I heard 50 saying he respected Jadakiss
and actually would love to work with him... Who knows what's going on
tho...

All I know is their *** is through interscope and none of it is
dropping.

- Saw Killa Season (the movie) over the weekend... As far as bull***,
rapper-made, hood movies it's pretty good... Better than State Property
and Paid In Full in my opinion... Definitely entertaining to say the
least even tho it's a little too long (over two hours??? WTF???) Still
tho, I'm a pretty big Cam/Dipset fan so maybe my opinion is a little
biased... Speaking of which...

Im a fan of the SP joints, and I like cam/dipset so I'm planning on
copping the dvd on this joint althgouh 2 hours sounds like its gonna be
a bit much.


Yeah the beginning and middle is entertaining but it drags on after a
while and then it just ends out of nowhere... Still again it's
entertaining (just for the footage of Cam and Mase playing high-school
ball -- Mase looks REALLY FUNNY with his head shaved...)

I copped this and watched it yesterday, and the best is the REVOLUTION
IN CINEMATOGRAPHY achieved by the half-assed intersplicing of home
video footage and music videos into the proper film instead of actually
recording the segments for the movie. Fucking ace. The plot
development is definitely a lot better than your typical movie of the
genre and the violence level was pretty good, but I felt like it didnt
have enough really entertaining parts like SP, which was basically a
semi-coherent set of hilariously violent skits....


Out of the core dudes Jones sucks and otherwise cam is
probably the worst rapper in the crew,

Jones is worse... Even tho Cam is garbage lyrically nowadays, he picks
great beats, his songs are still entertaining and he has a nice flow...
For these reasons, Cam is still one of my favorites even tho you can
tell he makes his songs in less time it took for me to write this
sentence...

Jones is definitely worse, hes fucking awful, I actualyl like Cam, Im
just saying hes the worst dude in the crew once you've given up on Jim
compeltely. I mean I though jones was sposed to just be the ceo of
their little company, now dude's trying to rap? Seriously, on the Come
Home With Me joint, didnt he just do choruses and talk ***?

hopefully will change with them getting all the shine on the new joint,
and JR & Rell getting solos.... Even jay bezel isnt too bad and hes

Never liked Bezel but I really never heard that much of him... Un Kasa
is another Diplomat I was feelin but again I haven't heard much of him
either... He was on that Purple City album last year but that was
pretty much it...

Yeah, kasa's properly part of PC and not the Dips, so he only gets the
occasional guest shot, but he wicked entertaining, almost as up there
as 'Elz. Bezel is decent from the handful of versed i've heard,
meaning he rhymes about as well as cam but with less style.


- Hopefully it will be a good summer... Busta should be coming out (New
York *** ALONE has gotten my interest up for The Big Bang)... I dont

I need to check out that single, although the album will probabyl be
uneven bullshit like every fucking busta record with a bunch of shitty
club jams and pop joints and like 3 or 4 really hard joints to make it
worth copping used.


His first 3 or 4 albums were very good I thought... The last two
weren't that great... Much like the Mobb, this album will probably be
better than his recent efforts but not better than his 90s ***...

I copped the first 2 and listened to the 2 after that and never though
any had more than 3-4 joints. Busta invented the mediocre commercial
record where you try to cover all the bases and collab with everyone at
the cost of consistency and having a full record Im actually gonna
wanna listen to. I mean, Id rather listen to a record that has 4 good
NYC joints but is filled out with mediocre NYC joints than the one that
has a bunch of bs r&b crossover and token west coast and southern jams.
Its like the difference between the 1st Jada solo and the Sheek
record.

If rae had decent beats Immobilarity woudl have been good. Thats a 3.5
mic album with it getting nothing for the beats.

Again, I never could even listen to that album just because of the
production... There was like 2 or 3 songs I liked and the rest was just
unlistenable... And his last album had slightly better production but
still wasn't that good...

The production was unbearable. When the throwaway pete rock beat is
far and away the best you can do, you need to throw that *** in the
trash.



looking forward to Freeway, Styles, D-Block, Pharrell, and the
Clipse... (Even tho I understand that ALL of the albums I just
mentioned have a HUGE chance of being delayed past the summer...)

Being that other than Pharell they were all sposed to drop last summer,
Id say theres a good chance none of them drop this summer.

I aint holding my breath...
