'Bird Flu' isn't as big as they're making out. Humans get Flu. It's an

I suppose the whole thing hinges on whether or not the virus will jump
over onto humans, cos the "advantage" of bird flu is that you can go
and kill millions of chickens, ducks, geese and whatnot (earlier than
you would have anyway), but when humans get sick by the hundreds or
thousands, most countries won't have a clue what to do with them.
Infrastructures and backup plans are still pretty scarce and that's
what I don't understand. Every kid could have told us that when the
birds come back to the northern latitudes in spring, they're gonna
bring back a little sumpin. Most countries, however were acting like
ain't no big deal, like let's have a cup of tea and see what happens.
I have to say that being in Switzerland I'm not THAT worried, but I'm
still not so sure if I should go see the duckies on the pond with my
little son or not.
