double-sided single-issue movement "Ban Handguns/Legalize Marijuana!"
that is practically a party line commandment for all progressives.
Sometimes it is expressed in a completely different order, like
"Legalize Marijuana/Ban Handguns", but the ulterior political messages
are widely understood under this operational slogan as a "moderate"
cover for supporting all drugs and opposing all guns. It's known
that a majority of "progressives" are actually opposed to this
personally, but, like the issue of immigration, all the responsible
activists are expected to go one way and one way only for the
purposes of political expediency: it is understood that the enemy
also uses personal dishonesty for programmatic purposes, and since
the enemy sometimes succeeds, therefore, the good people must do
exactly as the conservatives do, and lie about their personal
opinions on "hot trigger" "single issues" like abortion, drugs,
guns, immigration, etc. Since you want to be taken seriously,
and are required by the "serious" people to take sides in this
issue, what do you like better, marijuana or pistols?

P-Dub: I and I vote for the former.

firearms.
