Yes, you boys do like to pile on. I expect there'll be more.
You've seen the movie 12 Angry Men, yes?
Color me Henry Fonda.
Just had to "pile on" Marcman.
That's OK Patrick, I can take it.
If you recall that movie/play, the
Fonda character was the calm reasonable one.
Yes, exactly, just like me.

That's a fact, and that's what I do, and that's what I've been doing.
but didn't hammer the same points over and over and over
and over again with the others on the jury.
I don't revisit visited ground, unless I get a new person, making the
same argument that a different person previously made, that had
already been argued. I guess instead of being repetitive, I could
simply reply "asked and answered" or something like that, but in my
mind, that would be rude, because we're not in a courtroom, we're in a
discussion group and if people stil have questions even after I've
answered them, well usually I don't have a problem going over it
again.
Take a hint dude, it is obsessive and really very unappealing.
Asked and answered. Is that better?

Do you really need to get in the face every speaker in 'the argument'?
There's a difference between getting in someone's face and answering
their questions (or addressing their points.) I'm not getting in
anybody's face (except maybe the face of "him of whom I may not speak"
until tomorrow after 10am. I f I was doing that, there'd be carnage
here. I'm actually remaining extremely cordial, polite and reasonable
with y'all. Do you not see it that way?
Can you say your piece once or twice perhaps and then be secure in
the knowledge that you are right and stand in your silence?"
Good advice, thanks, I'll think it over.
Jack also taught that no one has a monopoly on the Truth. We all have
a
little piece of it. I've found this to be very true. I also like Bill
Ayers' (from the Weathermen) philosophy of "action and doubt" because
“without doubt we become arrogant and narcissistic.”

A lot of people have been talking about all the good advice I've been
getting, when in reality most of what I've been getting are wise ass
remarks from people that are playing an "I can be more clever than you
can word game."
Except of course from Steve, who seems content to just hate on the
millions and millions of people that come from where I come from. As
if even if he's right about me, that Long Island, is somehow to blame.
That's pretty funny.
I feel I should acknowledge real quick here, that I now realize I may
have done the exact same thing regarding the midwest. If I did, and
I'm pretty sure I did, that was a mistake on my part and I appologize
for that.
But this post from you is packed with very good advice, and I
appreciate you taking the time to compose it.
