Actually, I don't get it. My gf just got involved in it a few weeks
ago, at the behest of a friend of ours who has moved from Berkeley to
Utah. For the first few days, it was kind of an obsession, then it
faded. I don't know what the fuss is. It seems a lot like junior high
school, with people trying to "collect" friends and putting them on
display. Perhaps there's more to it, as I have spent a total of about
3 minutes checking it out via her page and the page of someone at
work, so I am probably missing something.

I heard something about "twittering" on the radio, which is, iir,
updating your page to let people know what you are doing at present,
but I had to have gotten that wrong, as that sounds pretty stupid, and
I can't believe people would actually be into that. But, again, I'm
probably missing something.

Like everything else in life, Facebook is what you make of it. It's no
more stupid than coming here to argue about politics, music, Heiny Sex
or whether or not Phish really does suck.
