You're not in court now. You said Obama's comment was a "gaffe," suggesting
he had said something that would hurt him with the voters (otherwise why
would it matter, who would care?). Are you really suggesting Obama (who if
memory serves also went to law school and a rather good one at that) makes
comments in a presidential debate that should be taken outside the context
of politics? Do you suppose he expected his audience for that remark to
consist entirely of lawyers who would get picky over the details of
advantages of doing business in Delaware, as opposed to say the general
public who think corporations in general and banks in particular have been
getting away with the proverbial murder? Context, counselor, context.
Hey, he's the one who brought it up, and in the context of health care
of all things. And sorry, I have a higher opinion of the voting
public than you do, especially with the attention focused on the
banking industry these days. And I am certainly no supporter of
McPalin.
