You can expect to be a member in good standing of RMGD.
The fact is that the democrats caused this whole mess.....
Believe what you want, but if you lost any "real" money this week, it is
because of the support the dems have from voters who agree with the
concept that the govt should redistribute wealth....in this case it was
in the form of mortgages to the poor who had no way of ever paying them
back....
I have heard this continually spouted on RWNW radio. The assertion is
clearly suited to motivate RWNWs against those evil Democrats and
negroes. We *all* know who "those folks getting loans they cannot
afford" is referencing. However, that is not the point. The point
should be the truth. Honestly, I am curious about foreclosures. I have
tried to find data online with little success. What I would love to
know is the mean and stdev of loans for foreclosed homes in various
markets; it would not be honest to take a national average since home
value do vary greatly. If we had the stats, we could end this
discussion right now. What is the average value? Is it all homes at
the lower end which would support the RWNW contention? Gimme the
facts. BTW, how can Rush and Hannity make these assertions *without*
the facts? Clearly, if they had them, they would reference them. That
alone should make you wonder about their motivation.
BTW - On a weird side note, I do telecomm software support. I have to
deal with our ER department. If equipment goes down, you have to get
it up asap (FCC requirement). Once you get everything up and running,
then you look for root cause. You can easily tell that Congress is not
of a technical/methodical mind since they are debating root cause when
they simply need to focus on recovery.

Do not discount the wealthy people...who bought pre-construction price
condos on Miami Beach...Never with the intent to actually purchase, but
to buy pre-construction and sell before closing is req'd....
By no means are they "negroes" (thats amazing you said that-its quite
racist)), but they were investors...using the tools that were made
available.
This is not about poor people...or as you say "negroes"....this is about
a culture that was set up for poor people.... and everyone took advantage..
It's about greed.................
I agree 100%. However, as was previously noted, politicians frequently
blame those they simply can. There is an implied racial tinge to
(almost solely) blaming Acorn, etc for this mess. That was my point.
If you are going to blame low income defaults for all of this, you
need to have the data to back it up. Too many folks are regurgitating
this as though it was fact. Someone somewhere either needs to confirm
or refute this assertion.
