Anyone know where to get good virus removal software on the web? Any
chance it could be for free? I tried spybot but I am not sure how good
that is. I had purchased Norton from the flea market for $20.00. It
worked for 2 computers. That seemed to work alright. But I need it for
another computer at work. Geeeezzz, once a virus gets a hold of your
computer it is vile. It just rapes your machine and won't go away.

Which site gives the best virus removal?
Free???

A virus infected booie......

what spyware removal software do you use?

avg for antivirus; lavasoft ad-aware and spybot for spyware/malware.
Nothing's perfect, nothing gets everything. Everyone out there who's
been through this and has solved it themselves will have a different
experience - some of these tools won't have worked for them, they'll
have needed / found something else that did the trick.

You need time. Install and run the avg, first. Reboot. Run it again
until clean. Run the spyware apps - consecutively and reboot,
individually and reboot. Run 'em all again.

"hijack this" if you're comfortable with the procedure.

After you're clean, don't run all this stuff all the time, just stay
clean. (I do run avg).
