If the liberal mantra was so appealing to the masses there
would be more liberal talk radio stations. The fact that there are
zero highly rated national liberal radio stations means either the
messengers or the message is not mainstream enough. Which is it?

That conservatives like you seem to be so proud that conservative talk
radio is successful is a mystery to me - you're deluded if you think
that somehow validates your politics. What it validates instead is
your ego.

Nobody is right or wrong here...this is a valid observation. I'm not
mentioning right-wing radio just because it's successful. I'm
mentioning it because that's all there is. As a Democrat, you and
Richard should be able to explain why it is that the liberal message
doesn't survive on air.

Because it's not needed. This has been explained. Republicans wouldn't
be in office without propaganda because they need to convince a lot of
people to vote against self interest. The liberals just need the facts.
Facts are boring, they don't need to be on talk radio 24/7. Lies and
propaganda do to be effective. The people who need this propaganda can
afford it and so they advertise on these stations.

All right EH...come to the front of the class: Why is it not in the
interest of your common working family (proletariet) out there not to
be able to drill in the outer continental shelf, 50 miles off-shore,
in the frozen tundra otherwise known as ANWR or build more refineries
and nuclear plants now? It would be a boon to employment, economic
growth and throw in downward pressure at the gas pump. You speak as
the defender of the working person getting screwed by the fat cats of
industry, but how about those getting boned by congressional mandates..
(I include the befuddled John McCain here as well). Look I'm only
shilling for lower energy prices which I must add directly help those
living paycheck to paycheck, busting their asses to make a living,
give their kids more opportunities and driving the safest vehicles
possible. Reality check: we can actually have high environmental
standards and more drilling, exploration, new refineries, coal
technologies, better fuel economy standards AND development of
feasible alternatives at the same time. It's not Us vs. Them! We are
in *this* thing together. Btw, anyone who is invested in a 401K, IRA,
company profit sharing plan, etc. have shared economic interests. I
don't need any publication, netsite or commentator to tell me the
above, I would think it common sense. Did you get all that?

.

The Democrats, for the most part, are not really interested in
discussing anything that has to do with oil. They're more concerned
about the polar bears drowning than their own kids future.
