Seriously, while I am only a casual baseball fan these days, IMO there
is nothing that says summer more than listening to a baseball game on
the radio on a warm summer night



Baseball was my first love. As I kid, I able to witness in person the great A's teams of the 70's (Rudi, Reggie, Yaz, Bando, etc.); I also got to witness Rickey Henderson steal 4 bases - or was it 5 - in one game later on in the 80's, including home base I might add. But I can't stand baseball today. I loathe both baseball fans and the game itself.





Basketball OTH bores me to tears.




Where I grew up, basketball was king. It's in my blood. I used to play street ball all the time growing up.
