Hmmmm. Your story about your recent acid trip seems to beer much more
resemblance to reality than the above string of descriptors.
that is Kobe Bryant. His photo appears
next to at least two dictionary entries: "quisling" and "clueless."
My dictionary is borked. This ain't Kobe Bryant:

But clueless definitely seems to have a place in this thread
somewhere...
One year ago, this self-absorbed felch eater was demanding to be
traded from what would prove to be the best team in the NBA on odd
numbered days, and blasting the media for reporting it on even
numbered days. He redefines the concept of "me-first."
Well, aside from the fact that one year ago the Lakers were far from
the best team in the NBA, I'd actually rather prefer my star player to
want to play on a team that competes for championships rather than
settles for mediocre performances year after year.
Let me see if I've got this right; you'd prefer to have your star
player be some other team's star player??
Um, so far as I know Kobe is still a Laker. But Kobe's demands were
simple: improve the team or send me somewhere else. (BTW, it cracks me
up to no end that Chicago could have had Kobe for a song, but didn't
want to give up Luol Deng... Heh...) Along with making those demands
of the front office, he made demands of his teammates... Pretty
demanding? Hell yeah, this ain't exactly the CYO league. And the
demands produced an all-star caliber Andrew Bynum, Trevor Ariza (which
is a great trade few know about because of an injury), an excellent
bench, and the ability for Kupchak to stumble into a steal (although,
it is a strong possibility this Laker team could have made it this far
w/o ever having gotten Gasol).
Why
should winning championships every year be his birthright?
Why should he settle for anything less? He's a Laker, not a Knick or
something.
After all,
it's not like the Lakers have been cellar dwellers for the last ten
years.
Come on. Again, it's the Lakers. Every year you don't win a
championship is damn near a failure.
The only reason Kobe wants another ring is because his ego
can't stand the fact that most people don't think he would have won
any without Shaq.
To the contrary, as it should be for just about every competitive
athlete. The reason to win a championship is because that is what you
are playing for. If you don't want to be the best, hang up the
sneakers and go start an organic farm or something.
