The rush is incredible, it's well worth it. For me, the scariest part
was getting in the plane to begin with. I was in the last batch of
our group to jump, nobody had chickened out so I knew if I got into
the plane the only way off was by jumping. Once I was in the plane
and it took off I was busy concentrating on what I was supposed to do
when it was time to jump (of course, it was a tandem jump so my main
responsibility was don't puke, but I was able to convince myself there
was more to it than that). Although putting your foot out the door of
a plane when you're 10,000 feet up in the air is a bit unnerving I
really wasn't worried/scared at that point, I figured it was too late
to change my mind and decided to enjoy myself.

Yeah, it's the whole "signing up for the thing and getting in the airplane
and getting to 10,000 feet" part that is the scary, in my book.

I'm sure once I got up there I would be just fine with it.
