Re: Any bikers on RMGD?

Every now and then I get the urge to skydive, I challenge my friends
and family to talk me out of it, so far they have been successful. Most
likely because I am not a skydiver and despite the urges I am afraid of
becoming a stain on the landscape.

You know, I have that same urge from time to time...but I have never
acted on it. I think of it in a "gee, you know, that would be kinda cool"
way, but the scary outweighs the exciting.

Becoming a rider is similar, if you hear every gore and guts story and
still plan to start riding you can start with a healthy dose of fear.

Believe me, I have gotten a lot to think about from everyone I know...
and yup, I still want to ride.

Rather than tell you about "a guy my friend met who knows a guy
whose cousin got his head stuck between the rear tires of a speeding
18 wheeler", I linked you to the EK website. It is designed that same
way, there is plenty of info, but before you get to the stories about
good times, you have to see EK's story. If you see enough and decide
that you are better off without a bike then that will be the smart move.
I check that site prior to hitting the road and it makes me focus on
getting home in one piece.

That's cool. How long have you been riding?
