Sorry, but in the cases of DK, Carrie, and Fred you do seem to

WHAT GIVES?

Carrie is a vindictive bitch who brings people real life grief for giving
her a hard time online.

Fred is a bore, a Usenet pedant who suffers from the delusion that
his opinion is somehow significant.

Dave is the class clown who never grew up, and doesn't realize that
his schtick grows old after the hundredth repetition.

I simply ran out of patience with Fred and Dave at the same time...
and I've never had any patience for Carrie and her vile, creepy ways.

If that offends you, well...that's just really too bad.
