Brought two bottles home from the brewery three weeks ago and kept

Decided to sample it tonight; It's their anniversary beer, due in
July.

13.4 ABV.

Owner says it's a Belgium Imperial Stout.

Opened a bottle, at cellar temp, and here are my thoughts:

It's a bit too bubbly for a stout, but it's early in it's life cycle,
so I'll give that a pass. (rest)

(After the rest) It's got a dark, but light velvety smooth taste,
coupled with that distinctive Belgium finish.

But not too sweet.

Very, very drinkable at this early stage.

Bottle number two looms...

Right now, it's a Belgian chocolate flavored coffee as I type this
reply on this thread. Last night, however, it was Leinenkugel's Honey
Weiss. Too light, a bit too sweet for my tastes ... after drinking a
six pack (12 oz. ea.) Bob Weir & Ratdog 08-12-07 was much better for
my ears.

Yoker.
