Cynthia McKinney, who will most likely be the Green Candidate this fall.
Will probably get a bit of the Obama vote, should Hillary get the nod.
I kid you not.

Cool. I might well cast my vote for her.

Uh, shouldn't you wait and see what your brother thinks of her first?

Fred

Hey Fred.

Bite me. If you want to bust my balls feel free, but leave my brother
out of this conversation. I don't make comments about anybody's
relatives.to insult them,

I'd appreciate it if you would extend me the same courtesy

Scot

uh,actually you have stated more than once as refutation of facts
stating how much of a scum McCain is, saying your bro has met him on
his best behavior at some school function.

So what? That doesn't mean ***. I can talk about my brother all I
want. That doesn't make him fair game for anyone else to talk about.
He doesn't post to this group.
Feel free to take whatever potshots you want at me. Leave my brother
out of it

I think Fred was taking a potshot at you, not your brother. You
previously made a point of basing much of your opinion about McCain on
your brother's positive endorsement. Fred was poking fun at you for
expressing your possible support for Cynthia McKinney without first
consulting your brother.

That's my read on that too, FWIW.

He's a far better person than 90% of the people who post to this group.
(Including me)

Your loyalty to your brother is commendable, but why do you find it
necessary to disparage 90% of rmgd posters, most of whom you've never
met?

Yeah - pretty harsh there.

Back to McCain: he's got a long record of contradictions and dirty
politics, Scot. Just in the past few days he's talked about leveling
New Orleans' 9th Ward - and when called on it saying he doesn't recall
saying that; helped a terrorist organization - Hamas - influence our
election by saying that Obama's their choice and he's not; and has
been exposed to being a deceiver with respect to using his wife's
wealth to campaign via a private jet - this is adter he said he
wouldn't use his wife's money in the campaign.

Now you can say that stuff - not to mention for example McCain's
radical 180-degree turns to the right on issues like tax cuts,
torture, Roe v. Wade, same-sex marriage and RW religious fanatic
leaders, as well as say lying about his assessments of how easy the
Iraq war would be, and repeatedly conflating Iran with al Qaeda - you
can say that stuff is standard politics that many if not most
politicians at McCain's level use to get elected.

But how is McCain's record of lying and such for political gain so
much better than Hillary's in your mind?
