Dunno about y'all, but we got reamed this year ...
In perverse celebration, Tax Day dinner:
Tossed Green Salad with Ranch Dressing
Basmatti/Wild Rice Pilaf
Pan-grilled flatiron steaks
Scottish Salmon, sprinkled with Halen Mon smoked sea salt drizzled with lime
juice
Domaine de la Terre Rouge Viognier 2002
Cedarville Sierra Foothills Cabernet 2003
The Halen Mon Welsh oak-smoked sea salt is amazing stuff--daughter brought
some back with her from her UK visit ... we rarely have salmon without it
any more. Sear one side of the fish, then flip it ... lay on the smoked sea
salt and drizzle fresh lemon or lime juice on it ... the smoked salt essence
drifts down into the fish .. .mmmmmmm.
Any salmon freaks out there?
Richard
I love me some good salmon! Had some fantastic salmon sushi in Tokyo
last week although unlike the US, it wasn't the star of the meal that it
can be here. Not to say it wasn't excellent, just so much other stuff
that was amazing.

PS Big thanks to Steve, he made our trip much more manageable!
Can't wait to come back and hang again!
Did you post about the trip, did I miss that?
Taxes. I went to have my taxes done. Brought my statements that
said
"Important Tax Information" from IRA's and bank.
I had no INCOME last year! Weird. I've been doing taxes so long I
didn't even think about that.
Obviously brain-sludge setting in.
