Actually, it was a mob reference, sure. But after 9/11, there's no way
to say such without evoking 9/11, whether you meant to or not.
Horsefeathers. 9/11 didn't cross my mind; it's obviously a mob
reference. Your skin is (IMHO) too thin.

My skin, thin or not, had nothing to do with it. It didn't cross your
mind, therefore it's not going to cross anyone's mind? Ok, then. It
jumped out at me immediately. Again, I'm not saying it was wrong or
anything. I'm just saying that the sentence "The first thought was,
you know, it's never a good thing to be buried in cement when you're
in New York," now has an additional context. It does, and that is a
fact. And that's all I am pointing out.
