I agree with you about Beagles.
We lived next to a family that
owned a restaurant, so they were
gone for 12 hours at a time, but
would leave their Beagle outside.
He barked non-stop.
At first, I was worried that he was
hungry or thirsty, but opinions
quickly changed when we could
never leave the windows open or
enjoy nature, due to the dog's
opinion, that he'd never seen us before!
Once the youngin came along and
night and day turned into a blur,
I was tossing the left over chicken
bones into his yard! Nothing worked.
We finally moved.
