computer password problem

What a mess! What a problem! I hope somebody can help me out here who
is much more computer savvy thn myself.
I can't logon to my administrator account, it won't accept the
password.
I am using Windows Vista Home Premium and when I type in my password,
which I have been using since I got this computer, a message comes up
that reads,
"The User Profile Service service failed the logon."
"User Profile cannot be loaded."
I try logging on without a password, but another message comes up
prompting me to reset my password. Clicking it, a dialog box comes up
with "This feature requires removable media such as a floppy disc or
USB flash drive ... try again." In other words use a backup so I can
quickly restore the password and get back to business. I did not make
a back up flash drive, yet. I should have done that when I got my
computer August 2007. Now I'm stuck. Ooops! Ouch!
Is there away I can bypass the password so I can get back to my
profile. Remember, it is an administrator account. Can I make another
profile on the computer from just a regular user to administrator in
the condition it is now? Any shortcuts? Anything easy?
This is where the good folks of rec.music.gdead come to the aid of
another denizen Dead Head of rec.music.gdead.
