No, there doesn't have to be. Maybe there is but you certainly haven't
made a convincing argument. If there is, maybe she cares about us.
Maybe they don't.
Maybe we will know one day. But it's all the same fucking day, man.

behind it all.
I wasnt trying to make a convincing arguement. I was sharing what I
believe-that the chances of something as complex as life on Earth
arising by chance are incredibly small, if not outright impossible.
And this creator who did put things into motion cares not a bit about
you or I, I've seen no evidence otherwise.
**************************************************************************************
I've seen no evidence of a creator. We know that we live on one small
planet in a universe of billions and billions of stars and even more
planets. It doesn't surprise me at all that on at least one small planet
in that insanely huge universe conditions came together to create life. It
seems to me that the odds of life existing on one planet would pretty much
be 100% considering the size of the universe and all the processes going on
in space, on the stars, and on the planets. Seems all very normal and
expected to me that it came together the way it did here. I suspect similar
and different life forms exist in a lot of other locales too.
Believers in imaginary ghosts in the sky always act like Earth is the center
of the universe. We're here and we're smart, so it all must be a
supernatural miracle. Why can't it just be natural processes? Humanity
isn't anything special; we're just evolved apes.
And just what would be the point for some supernatural ghost in the sky to
go to the trouble to create all this in the first place? To serve as a
plaything? No religion has ever come close to explaining that to my
satisfaction. It makes far more sense that things just happen based on
natural laws.

Thanks for the lack of arrogance in your post Toad, I appreciate that.
In response, I see evidence of a higher power or creator or the Flying
Spaghetti Monster everywhere. Living beings, whether it be plant or
animal, and the natural order that all life falls into, are the
evidence that there was more than chance that brought life about. The
way I see it and understand it, the concept of 'life' is much too
complex to happen by chance. Something put the forces/conditions in
motion to bring life about here (and most likely other places in the
universe).
