Oh man I can see where that was poorly expressed. I meant it as a
book is "unputdownable", it was freaking fascinating. I think we had
a thread about this a few months ago but I was riveted by the guy, the
obvious love the people interviewed had for him and his importance in
their lives, the reverence with which the muscians talked about him,
his transformation from beautiful vibrant 20-30 year old to broken
down soon to be dead alcoholic wreck at 47. It was very powerful
stuff. I've had 2 or 3 of the people whose music tastes I repect most
sit me down and try to help me "get" TVZ music wise and I have yet to
see the light. I have no doubt where the shortcoming in this equation
lies.
