just what I've been thinking the past two years. every soap opera
needs an eccentric Adam Chandler, I guess.

Fred, I hate to pull this card out, but man...when is the last time
you've been laid dooooooood? Get outta the house for a change, would
ya?

no comment. oh wait, I do have a comment: Fred goes to Grateful Dead
nights at some bar in Berkeley. Does that count?
For getting laid or for getting out?
After further review, no, it doesn't count for either. There's much
more to life than going to a Berkeley bar to chase one's past watching a
Dead cover band.

All due respct JC, don't you think this all getting kinda childish and
ugly?

Childish? Absolutely. Ugly??? For RMG? Hardly. We do sometimes get
personal here. I rarely do it myself, but sometimes you have to call it
like it is. Embrace the chaos, as Neil X. (former Primer Minister of
"The Clique") would say. The most ugly thing going on here is how some
folks feel the need to police the group with their holier than thou
hypocritical bullshit. I think we're all adults, right (childish
behavior or not)? I don't know about you, but I've kinda outgrown
parents myself.

The beauty of RMG is that complete opposites such as myself and Fred can
totally mix it up on one issue and then shoot the shit about football a
few weeks later. And I don't hold grudges against people with chips on
their shoulder, including myself. I suspect Fred can handle all that
I'm throwing out at him. I've had some beefs in the past with folks
here who I've met in person later on, and a good time was often had by
all. So it's not like we're starting wars here.

YMMV of course. You wouldn't be the first to disagree with me.

BTW, I'm putting together a blog in which you will be able to hear some
of that Norwegian jazz I was talking about. I'll keep you posted.

Definitely want to check Your blog. then, Norwegian jass and all.
Asking someone about their personal life, and or commenting on it
seems kinda harsh and unreasonable though, no?
Maybe Neil was being something of an elitist dick in those days?.
