Realistically speaking, usenet is irelevant and has been for a few years.
Message boards rule the roost. Second, how many people do you think actually
follow the ng these days? Even the Microsoft bot that used to track usenet
usage was disconnected last spring:

There are maybe 40+- people who post here even remotely regularly. The few
stumblers in any given year are unlikely to even think FAQ on this type of
group. Also, the most effective use of newsgroup FAQ's has been when a
regular posts the entire FAQ's once per week, perhaps setting up a Sunday
morning bot posting.
