A word of advice:

DO NOT go to Harry Carey's RIP OFF Steak House!!!

I think I had to pay a rental fee for the knife, fork & napkin!

Well, what did you expect when you went to a restaurant that had the
words "Rip Off" in its name?

John H.

heh.

Neil, if you like modern art, you may want to check out the Museum of
Contemporary Art. Its probably within walking distance or a short cab
ride from your hotel.

Modern are is not the same thing as contemporary art. I like
contemporary art, but I am absolutely bat*** crazy for modern art.
And no place other than NYC's MoMA has more modern art than the Art
Institute.

Modern....contemporary......BAH! You beatnik kids and your crazy
ideas. Why, I remember when art was a few apples on a table or a
pretty picture of a boat on the ocean. Now, its.....well.....I dont
know what it is but I dont like it!

Seriously though.......I was at the MCA about 10 years ago.......and
walked into a room with realistic statues of lifesize naked men, all
engaged in various sexual practices. Was that art? I dunno. But I do
know that was a bit much for me, and I consider myself a tolerant
fellow. <Disclaimer-Not that there is anything wrong with it, yada
yada>
