Words have meaning and power. Of course people give it that power.
Doesn't change the simple fact that the C word means something sexist to
women and "***" does not not to men.


Most women - not all.

There is in fact a part of the feminist movement who wants to promote
the word as a way to reclaim it from the negative impression that most
people have of it - I'm with them.



As long as men use the C word to demean women in a way that makes them sound like a whore or dirty or less than a man, it's not going to be accepted by the fast majority of women as an empowering word. No amount of intellectual reasoning can change this reality.
