I don't agree with that. There are scads of off topic posts, for sure,
and some of the OT threads have been the most amusing and interesting in
RMGD history. This has always been a group FOR deadheads to talk about
whatever they want, not specifically a forum to talk only about the GD.

But can you point to even one single regular (or occasional) poster who is
not interested in the Grateful Dead? It's something that we all really do
have in common.
