Have you ever tried Ribena? I used to live in Hong Kong and that was
the British expat drink of choice (aside from beer, scotch etc.). It
is an extremely foul concoction allegedly from some sort of berry, the
sort of thing the Brits just love and no one else can bear to go
within 10 feet of.
Nope, never tried Ribena, though Andre might have. He went grocery shopping, so I'll have to ask him later. I am home all alone! I can't remember the last time that happened. <g> He took Thea shopping with him so she can get her free ice-cream cone at Stewart's (wear green today and they give you a free cone).
I do like many of the very interesting and flavorful Belgian beers, many of them made from berries.
But not Jupilier, aka "Jupe" the pisswater-beer that is Budweiser's equal in Belgium. <shudder>
