However, my post was not directed at you. It was more directed at other
folks, to remind them that your inability to see your error, correct it,
and
make peace may well be symptoms of character disorder. Picking at you is
unlikely to change that, although an occasional reminder that your poor
judgment makes you untrustworthy is probably a good idea.- Hide quoted

I believe you failed to answer my question, Richard. Since you are
judging/psychoanalyzing me, let's talk about you..what personality
type are you that you can sit in judgment of another person on a
similar matter that you yourself did to another rmgder (by complaining
to Google).
Similar? Not really similar. But since you are committed to truth, let's
have the truth. First off, I did not complain to google. I contacted his
mailer--don't remember who it was, and asked them to be prepared to identify
him quickly to authorities if the need arose, and I told them why.
What made me do that? Because he threatened to do exactly what you did: go
outside the newsgroup into real life, and that was directed not at me, but
at a member of my family. Did Sean ever threaten you or a member of your
family? I don't think so. Did I approach JB's employer? No. Did you go
to Sean's emailer or isp and file a complaint? No, you called his employer.
The two cases are not much alike at all, are they Carrie? I made a request
for identification to an email provider based upon someone's threat to go
outside the newsgroup to real life. You went outside the newsgroup to real
life. You and JB have much more in common than you and I do.
So who is libeling whom, Carrie? Who, once again, has her facts wrong?
Did you not see that he was obviously joking by his 10
winking emoticons??
Nope ... his communication was intentionally nasty.
What if he had worked there, Richard? Let's move
on..
Then move on.
I'd love to move on, Richard. I think in your heart you gotta know
that.
Yep, I think I do. A suggestion: next time in comes up, all you have to say is, "I screwed up, and I deeply regret it." But, you have to actually believe it yourself in order for other folks to believe it.
But don't forget, she's full of kindness and love while her adversaries are all full of hate and bitterness. ####
Bitterly yours,
JC
